  • Former Auburn linebacker Karlos Dansby had four tackles (one for a loss), a pass deflection (which was intercepted), a forced fumble, and a recovered fumble which he returned for the game-winning touchdown in overtime against the Packers. The Cardinals play New Orleans next weekend in the second round of the playoffs. 
  •  Cameron Newton, Roszell Gayden, Brandon Mosley, Craig Sanders, Jessel Curry now enrolled in school at Auburn. This means they count back to the 2009 signing class and can participate in spring practice.
  • According to The Lubbock Avalanche-Journal, Tommy Tuberville hired 29-year-old Neal Brown as his offensive coordinator at Texas Tech. Brown, former Troy offensive coordinator, was tutored by former Troy and Auburn offensive coordinator Tony Franklin. As we all remember, Franklin and Tuberville didn't work out. Franklin was fired after coaching just 7 games with the Tigers.
  • According to AuburnUndercover.com, Jeffrey Whitaker is down to Auburn, California, Georgia, Miami-FL and North Carolina. He will visit Auburn on Jan. 15th and Georgia on Jan. 22nd.
  • James Stone has named his top 3: Alabama, Auburn and Vanderbilt.
  • C.J. Mosley commited to Alabama public prior to kickoff at the Army All-American Game.  
  • Auburn Commit Shon Coleman has schedules official visits to Tennessee (Jan. 14th) and Ole Miss (Jan. 21st) and is expected to visit Miami, "later this month."
  • This week, Auburn will have 9 players visiting.
    • Commits: Kenneth Carter, Chris Davis, Jake Holland, D.J. Howard, Trovon Reed and Jawara White.
    • Prospects: Byran Jones, Michael Thorton, and Jeffery Whitaker.
